Team Lead – Medical Coding (Denials / E&M / ED Profee / Pathology / Radiation Oncology)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of coders to achieve productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
• Provide coding guidance and support for complex coding scenarios.
• Conduct regular audits, quality reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Perform RCA and implement CAPA for recurring coding errors.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, coding quality, and adherence metrics.
• Handle operational and client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct training sessions, refreshers, and mentoring programs for coding teams.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, CMS, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Coordinate with Quality, Operations, and Client teams to drive process improvements.
• Prepare operational dashboards, quality reports, and productivity reviews.

Mandatory Skills

• Team handling experience in Medical Coding
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following:
  • Denials
  • E&M IP
  • E&M OP
  • E&M + Surgery
  • ED Profee
  • Professional Observation
  • Ancillaries
  • Pathology
  • Radiation Oncology
• CPC / CCS certification preferred
• Experience handling productivity, quality, SLA and TAT
• Client interaction and team management exposure
